| Benton County Fire Protection District 6 is currently accepting applications for one Lieutenant/EMT position. BCFD6 Lieutenant/ EMT’s are responsible to perform skilled emergency medical care and transport for victims of sudden illness and injury. When directed by the Fire Chief, Lieutenants are also responsible for work performed as incident commander, combating, extinguishing, and preventing fires and protecting life and property through rescue, public education, and other emergency service activities. Duties also include other support services under the close supervision of the Fire Chief which includes but is not limited to training, maintaining equipment and quarters as well as other duties assigned by the Chief. The projected start date for this position is the week of February 01, 2021.

BUDGET HEARING NOTICE
Meeting Date and Time: November 09, 2020 – 7:00 pm
The Benton County Fire District 6 Board of Commissioners, in accordance with RCW 84.55.120, will conduct the annual revenue source hearing for its expense Budget on November 09, 2020. The hearing will begin at 7:00pm, via Zoom meeting. The purpose of this hearing will be to receive public input and to consider whether property tax revenues will need to be increased prior to the adoption of the 2021 BCFD6 annual budget and the levying of the District’s 2021 tax levy.
